I celebrate my silver wedding anniversary at the end of March and had intended to do an album with my wedding photos I have started but rather than have the pressure of finishing it for my anniversary I am taking my time and doing LOs as I feel inspired to do them. This LO was using a kit from Total Papercrafts as soon as the kit arrived I knew which photo I would be using it with!

Another Christmas LO this time going back 16 years - I came accross these photos again not long ago and had the urge to scrap them!

I challenged myself to do a LO using a sheet of cardstock and just scraps and leftovers and this was the result.

My oldest twin went on a world challenge expedition to Malawi last summer for a month. They treked but more importantly did some work in the community in one of the remote villages. He had a brillaint time and has been asking recently when I was going to start his scrapbook album! I have decided to stick with spicy/earthy colours throughout but not with any particular paper range (although these were using some crate paper i was given for Christmas) I now have over 500 photos to sieve through and decide which of them to use!

Winter LOs

I had a very productive day yesterday making 5 wintery LOs
The first one is the pretty scenes around my house now that it is all covered in beautiful snow - much nicer being inside looking out!
The next is another Christmas LO inspired by a pencil lines sketch 115 I think

I made the snow letter for this using acetate and stickles (lots of) to give a snowy effect and it is much better in real life

The snow word here is using stickles on chipboard letters and again lots of it butit looks good! My house was full of teenagers last week with all the snow and this LO is to show them all and the things they built

My final LO for this weekend was of my snowmen all wrapped up out in the snow!

My oldest son really moaned this year how 'everyone' goes to sleep after lunch on Christmas afternoon- just look at him an his girlfriend on New Years Day after lunch (and the rest of us were awake!)

My two younger sons were in a nativity play, from the inkeepers point of view, at our Church and I managed to get some pics during their final practice!

More Christmas LOs created yesterday at my local crop using the patterned papers from Sarah's cards Dec kit but I have added in more card stock as I have used the card up that came in the kit.

And Finally this LO just uses black, grey and white cardstock with a few prima flowers and brads...

Christmas LOs

After quite a long scrap block (and a few personal issues going on) I have finally got back scrapping and here are the LOs I have produced this week!
The first is of my oldest son putting on the mankini I bought for my husband - he was showing his dad how to wear it!! I used papers from the Bellaboo december kit (they are lush)

For our home group secret santa we had a limit of £5 and it had to be an ethical gift. I pulled my husbands name out of the hat. I searches high and low for something different and eventually found these pants to poverty pants and knew that i had to get them - even tho theywere more than the £5! The papers were more from the Bellaboo December kit

Christmas Eve - Again using more papers from the Bellaboo December kit a portrait of James and I on Christmas eve!

My 4th LO using the Bellaboo December kit (and I still have lots more left!), this is DS3 on Christmas morning

For 20 years my mum has taken part in the grannies vase competition at golf (since the year her first grandchild was born). She finally won it in 2008 and so we had to get a photo of her together with all her grandchildren and of course the prized Grannies Vase! The papers were from 3 jolly scrappers

Over the Christmas holidays my mum lets the children go mad with the party poppers but they have to fire them over her lights! The 2 LOs have a series of photos showing this and journalling to say what it is all about. Papers were the scrapaholix dec kit

Ive been very busy this week!!

Firstly I broke into my Sept Scrapagogo kit and made these 3 LOs ...

The above LO was a scraplift of Nicola's (scrapagogo design team) turned on its side.

The Bride LO was also my version of a scraplift from Laura (also in the DT)

I also made the LO below afer a class on Big Picture Scrapbooking to use edgings - I used the paper ribbons with their various edgings

He wasnt really excited!!

And finally some more 8 x 8 LOs for my son's mini album...
