oh no!!!!

I didnt realise quite how long it has been since I posted on here - Im sure no one reads this but if you have stumbled across me then I am sorry!

I have been making jewellery, knitting and doing some crochet (tho I am not too good at that!!!) I dont really have any photos of my makes other than my cupcakes I made earlier this year on a course then some at home! I am working hard at finishing a throw in granny squares I have been making on and off (more off) for years but it means sweing ends in and sewing together of 225 4inch squares - I will post a pic once I have finished it!

so for now enjoy my cupcakes....well looking at them anyway!

No Stopping ME now

Ive been scrapping like mad this week and so far have finished off 6 more LOs using Sarahs Cards kits I had left from earlier this year.

The First 2 Los are using a kit from March I think - I still have lots of this kit still to use and the photos ready to use (so watch this space lol)
This first LO is a day out at a canal museum in a very pretty village near to where i live and my 2 youngest sons when they were almost 4

On this LO Ben and Joe are at Cadbury world and enjoying a go in the car and for once didnt argue as to who was going to drive! Again photo taken in 1996

These Wedding LOs were all made using the May Sarahs cards kit. I am gradually working my way through my wedding photos and as soon as I saw the papers I knew I would do a few more wedding LOs

Proof we did get married!!!
thanks for looking

Yet more LOs!!

I had such fun scrapping after my scrapblock of months I made some more LOs last night - the photos of them arent brilliant as I didnt get a chance to take photos of them until the afternoon light was starting to go! I have carried on with the Sarahs cards june kit and photos from 1996

I'm on a roll

After achieving a LO on photoshop I went on to do another just to make sure it wasnt a fluke! This is my dog Meg last Christmas aged about 18 months. The only reason she sat still and let me put a hat on her and take photos as she was very poorly with an abcess on her neck but we didnt know that at the time!

I have also been doing some scrapbooking with paper and glue and last night made 2. Both were using photos from 1996 and the June monthly kit from Sarahs cards. I must admit I hadnt opened the kit since it arrived in June as I knew I wouldnt be scrapping it then but when I did open it I thought YUK!!!! not my sort of papers at alll but I got going cutting and sticking and in the end loved the selection of papers and embellishments. I finished using the kit up tonight and will post the LOs I have made with them once I have taken photos of them!

This LO of Joe was inspired my a sketch in this months scrapbook magazine

I havent been scrapping for a while as I have been doing other crafts most of which are hard to take photos of and get them looking good! I have taken photos of 3 pieces of jewellery I made to night and I intend to photograph other jewellery items I have been making over the past few months and post them on here soon
This mauve bracelet is for a Christmas gift for my mother in law - i hope she likes it!!
This cream pearl bracelet is for my mum as a stocking filler!

This is a broach from a kit bought at Beadscene in Northants

Cards

I have had a spell of making a few cards and have remembered to take pictures of just 3 before sending them off!!! The first used the stamp and card materials from Little CLaire designs a fab site who sell their own rubber stamps - these stamps and materials come from their monthly stamp set - perfect for my mums 70th birthday this week as she collects owl ornaments etc!

This card was made using a sizzix die cut cross and lots of left overs in my scrap box - I dont normally make Easter cards but really enjoyed making them and sending them for Church friends this year

James and I were baptised in March along with 5 other friends and so I made everyone I was being baptised with a card each. The cross is a stampin up stamp embossed in white and using lots of leftover card and paper from my scrap box
